Applications

Places on this summer school are limited to 20 students and will be awarded on merit. The student will need to cover the transportation to the location. The program will provide accommodation and meals.

Target Audience

Scientists and clinicians nearing the completion of their PhD, or those recently graduated, in human genetics, genomics, health-focused AI, and precision medicine. The selection process will take place in Spring 2026.

Travel Fellowship

Travel fellowships will be awarded to a limited number of participants from LMIC (or justified financial needs).

Travel Visas

Please contact the event organiser if you require a letter to support a travel visa application. Note that letters will be provided to confirmed attendees.
Non-European Economic Area may be required to have a visa to enter the UK. Early application is strongly advised.

Application process:

  • Submit the form below and attach your CV including the information stated in “What to include in your CV” by the 6th of March 
  • We will contact your supervisor using the email you provide
  • Your supervisor will need to fill in a short questionnaire about your skills and potentials
  • We will inform if you have been accepted by mid April 
Please note: Applications cannot be considered without a supervisor’s supporting statement.

  • Education/professional experience
  • Gender and Race/ethnicity – will use to track diversity indicators
  • A brief justification for attendance (half-page max)
  • An outline of current research (half-page max)
  • A list of relevant publications
  • Participation in meetings/conferences
  • Awards, scholarships, grants
